With the second stanza of Nigeria National League, NNL set to resume this weekend, Coach Yakubu Sambo of NAF FC Abuja has stated that they are going to Kaduna for maximum 3 points in Kaduna tomorrow.
NAF FC will face Kada City FC of Kaduna in the opening match of the second round of the league and the gaffer believes they hae what it takes to secure all 3 points.
“We’ve been looking for this opportunity to be on top and by the special grace of God we will maintain it.
“There Luis a huge understanding among the players and the technical crew, after each match we go back and make corrections.
“We are not looking at anyone but the mindsets of the players because they are the ones that will do the job.
“To keep their mindsets, we encourage them internally and externally and motivate them for the second round.
“Kaduna is our venue and we are going there prepared for only two things, to pick all 3 points or a draw before returning to Abuja.
He also speaks on the club performance in the just concluded FCT FA Cup.
“We lost in FA cup via penalties and I will not blame the players, myself or the management.
“We played a league match on Wednesday and we played FA cup again on Thursday there are lots of fatigue on my players, we begged to at least be given 2 days for our players to recuperate but they refused,” he stated.
The coach implored the club fans to stay by the team and promised that the club will pick one of the play off tickets.
