The former Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Barr Victor Onyenkachi Ochei has said that Nigeria could not be described as a failed state despite the security challenges she is currently facing, saying that the federal government was working assidiously to tackle the challenges.
Ochei, Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage in Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency told our correspondent at the weekend that every nation across the world had its perculiar security challenges.
He added that the issue of Kidnappings, insurgency and armed robbery did not emanate from the President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration.
He said that a country could only be described as a failed state when the legal tender is worthless and complete breakdown of law and order.
