Niger: Proprietress, director of Wisdom International School honoured

The Proprietress of Wisdom International school Kwankwashe in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State, Mrs. Elizabeth Okafor, has been conferred with the media award of “Astute Educator “ by the management of orator communications limited, the publishers of the Orator weekly newspaper based in Niger State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Also, the Director of the Institution, Engr. Okafor Joseph Ugonna was conferred with the media award of “Visionary Youth Builder” by the Orator organisation.
Conferring the awards on the two personalities on Tuesday at the school premises, the managing editor of the Orator weekly newspaper, Mr Nasir Oseni, said the two awards were conferred on the proprietress and director based on their outstanding contributions towards the development of education in Suleja and Niger State at large.
Oseni commended the management of Wisdom International Schools for the steps being taken to put in place structures in the school to enhance learning.
Responding, the proprietress of the school, Mrs Elizabeth Okafor, expressed joy over the award conferred on her.
She said the award would ginger the management of the school to continue to provide quality education for the students/ pupils in the school, noting that teachers were doing humanitarian job in the society.
She thanked the management of the Orator Communications Limited for the honour done to the school.
On his part, the Director of the School, Engr. Okafor Joseph Ugonna, said the award came to him as a surprise.
Joseph Ugonna also said the award would give him more encouragement to move the school to the next level in the interest of the students / pupils.
Not left out, the Principal of the School, Ogbu Roselyn, said the award conferred on the proprietress and director by the Orator weekly newspaper was a step in the right direction.
