Niger NDE begins training of 2,000 out of FG 76,300 unemployed.

The Niger State National Directorate of Employment NDE has commenced the training of its 2,000 out of the Federal Government 76,300 to be engaged in two major skills to be self employed in the country.
The State Coordinator, Engr Abdullahi Mohammed gave the disclosure nan interview yesterday in Minna, saying that the state has begun the training of 1,400 in Cosmetology from 11th December, 2017 to 22 December, 2017 who are all females.
Engr Mohammed noted that it was the stakeholders from the state that sourced and identified the beneficiaries and not the agency adding that the rest 600 are to be trained in other skills acquisition scheme comprising males and females that cut across all the 25 local governments of the state.
He explained that the participants are to be given a stipend of N1,000 daily to argument their transportation or feeding as it may be hence to encouraged beneficiaries to acquired the skill to be self employed and this would improved their income economically.
The Coordinator emphasized on the need to be self sufficient and employed because the search for white colour jobs that is unrealistic while he urged the participants to make use of the golden opportunity to the benefit of themselves and the society, added that Red Bricks Academy is responsible in the training of 12 local governments He applauded the Director General, Dr Nasiru Mohammed Ladan for the implementation of the scheme nation wide as this will create employment and improved the economic status of the beneficiaries while he commended Hon. Abubakar Lado Suleja for donating N150,000 for Suleja participants calling for others to emulate the gesture.
He further said that the agency in the state is rounding up its various training schemes of about 200 for the year ranging from Modern Agricultural Poultry Farming (REP) and B-NOAS who have all received their stipends of N15,000 each.
