Niger lawmaker cries as he receives receipt of nomination form from community

A Member of Niger State House of Assembly representing Bosso local government, Hon. Malik Madaki Bosso was speechless, shaded tears and expressed shock when a community presented to him a receipt of N850,000 for expression of interest and nomination form to re-contest.
Hon. Madaki was appreciative of his community for the gesture especially during this critical period of hardship, to have raised such amount to buy him form to further contest for the forthcoming election come 2019.
It was when village head of Kopa, Alhaji Gamale was in tears while expressing his satisfaction to the member on how he lay down his live, prompt intervention during the army invasion of their communities.
The Communities were Kpaidina and Kopa in Bosso local government of Niger state who were invaded by the Nigerian army in 2016 has purchased N850,000 expression of interest and nomination form for assembly member, Hon. Malik Madaki Bosso.
The group comprised of people from Garatu ward of Bosso local government area said that this was to reciprocate the gesture to the member representing Bosso constituency in Niger state House of Assembly to recontest for 2019 election.
The leader of the group, Alhaji Gamale Kopa, while speaking during the presentation Minna however displayed payment bank tellers to journalists, said the member has demonstrated uncommon commitment to their welfare and they would like him to return to continue with the good work.
Gamale Kopa said that the member had since he was elected, kept in touch with them through several welfare programmes and provision of fertilizers and other agricultural inputs.
“During our clash with the army, Hon Malik had stood with us. That period was our greatest period of hardship “, he said
He added that they met and deliberated and concluded that the numerous interventions from the member excited them and encourage them to contribute N850,000 to purchase the form for him.
He emphasized that they came from Garatu, Sabon Daga, Kpaidna, Barkuta, Epigi, Gidan Mangoro, Gada, and other places of the communities to show solidarity with the member who was there for them and for Hus good representation at the state assembly.
In same vein, the chairman of APC in Garatu ward, Mallam Yakubu Mai Hoto said the member has shown he was capable of representing them again at the house of assembly.
“Hon. Malik Madaki Bosso deserved the gesture because he was always with his people especially in their period of needs and because of his track record of achievements, the people decided to buy the form for him” he concluded.
