Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has reiterated commitment to partner with the State of Kuwait in the areas of health, education, infrastructural development, water and sanitation.
This was contained in a statement issued by SSG’s Information Officer, Lawal Tanko which was made available yesterday in Minna, saying that Ahmed Matane disclosed when he paid a working visit to the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Abuja.
Received by the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Fahad Al Dousari who represented Mr. Abdulaziz Albisher, Ambassador of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Nigeria further disclosed that the aim of the visit is to deepen partnership with Kuwaiti Government so that the State can have intervention in different sectors of the economy.
The SSG explained that Niger State Government will continue to sustain the long existing history of partnership with the Kuwaiti Government and other Foundations, Development Partners and Embassies in Nigeria for the development and progress of the State.
In his remarks, the Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Nigeria, Mr. Fahad Al Dousari who represented the Ambassador assured the Secretary to the State Government of the readiness of Kuwaiti Government to collaborate with the Niger State Government with a view to achieving the set goals and objectives.
