Niger govt partners Immigration to curb irregular immigrants

The Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has assured that his administration will partner with the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS to secure the vast international border lines of the state and checkmate influx of irregular immigrants.
Governor Bello made this known when he received on courtesy visit the state’s new Comptroller of Immigration Mrs Amadih Honby in his office in Minna.
He hinted that there are reports of influx of irregular immigrants into the country.
He however, challenged Immigration Service to ensure that tight security is accorded to the boarders to avoid further influx of immigrants.
In her remarks, the Comptroller of Immigration, Mrs Amadih Honby who assumed office on February 6th commended Governor Abubakar Sani Bello for his commitment and support so far towards ensuring that the agency functions well in the state.
She promised to do her best throughout her tenure in the state.
