NGO flags off widows’ care programme in FCT

A Non-Governmental Organization, FEED ONE INITIATIVE has flagged-off its maiden care for the widows programme with over 50 beneficiaries.
Speaking during the flag off at the weekend in Mpape, FCT, the Founder and CEO Feed One Initiative, Comrade Nsikan Paul said the they embarked on this with the support of spirited individuals and groups that keyed into the organization’s vision of giving to the needy in our society.
According to him, this collaboration with groups and individuals will be of the best benefit to Nigerians that daily look for help. “We are poised to changing the narratives’ of people living in our communities through this platform and we will not back down in working and assisting the less privilege with all our strength and resources available to us,” Comrade Paul added .
In his remark, the Chief Host of the event and the Councilor representing Dutse Ward in Bwari Area Council, Hon Julius Adamu, expressed joy with the Founder of the organization for such wonderful gesture of care for the down trodden in the rural places like Mpape.
He promised to collaboration with NGO’s like Feed One Initiative in areas of training the youth and widows and people with special need within the ward.
According to the Councilor, “As the representative of the people, we are doing our best and we will continue to do more for our people.”
The donor , the Chief Executive of Shepherd Group, Hon. Friday Etimbuk, said they are partnering with Feed One Initiative because of the track record of carting for the vulnerable in the communities and their painstaking work for the common man in our society with honesty and diligence in whatever they are doing.
He therefore pledged continued working relationship with them, urged Individuals , groups and government agencies to support the NGO.
