Nigeria U23 team have shifted the resumption date of the team from Sunday to Wednesday, January 7.
A release by the media officer of the team Timi Ebikagboro disclosed that the shift in date was due to the cancellation of an international friendly between the team and the Young Pharaohs of Egypt earlier billed to be played on the 15th and 17th in Nigeria, with the return legs in Cairo almost immediately.
In a bid not to keep the team idle, the NFF have now re-arranged another friendly with the U23 team of Tunisia, with the first leg in Nigeria and the return leg in Tunis.
With this new arrangement the players are expected to arrive the Serob Hotel camp in Abuja of the team on Wednesday while training will commence on Thursday, 8th January.
The Dream Team VI kick start their All Africa Games qualifier in February against Gabon.
