NFF board may sack Amadu this week

Musa AmaduThe plan may have been concluded to sack the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Musa Amadu and he may be replaced with Dr Mohammed Sanusi, the anointed candidate of the Aminu Maigari cabal.

Information reaching showed that some folks within the board of the NFF in further averting unsettling developments in the crisis the organisation is facing upon receiving the latest letter from Leo Iyke Igbokwe demanding for the setting up of arbitration are not comfortable with the letter.

Our source claimed that, “when the FIFA reply to Igbokwe arrived, it was carefully studied and appropriate response plans were created. When the letter for arbitration arrived the secretariat, fears rose as to how it can be averted.”

That was the point, some of the Maigari cabal started the campaign that Musa Amadu must go and be replaced with a more faithful member of the cabal which is how Dr Sanusi Mohammed’s name came up again.

The fears are that, Musa Amadu may be tempted to present the letter to the board and feelers are rife that some members of the board who are not too happy with the way and manner of the Amaju Pinnick leadership may want to hook up to surreptitiously support the arbitration.

The assumption is, if that fails at the board and anything has to be done with the FIFA headquarters which may be a last resort, Musa Amadu needs to be removed so that the entire fight looks clean and new.

Two, a signal of stabilising needs to be established which is why Amadu’s replacement is seen as ideal while the new scribe will inaugurate the new board of the LMC while start preparing for the elections into the boards of the Leagues in February.
