The spiritual father and chairman Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, the Most Rev’d Dr S. A. Abidoye has called on all Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation, remain calm, humane, firm, resolute and decisive while the government of the day is given more time to drive home their point on their war against insurgence.
Dr. Abidoye made the call in his New Year message to Nigerians yesterday, urging Nigerians to give them more time and chance to continue to execute their campaign promises and their stanch and persistent fight against corruption.
However, he beseeched the ruling government to be masses oriented.
“Please work more on improving the quality of our education that is going down the drain, and help us to raise the standard of our technical schools that will in turn produce more employers of labour rather than job seekers.
“There should be creation of more skill acquisition/training centres across the country. This will help mop up a portion of the unemployed youth roaming our streets. Finally, 20l8 is another year of engaging in campaigns, politicking and political arithmetic either to gain power or to retain power.
Please let be politically and spiritually matured and be careful not to engage in politics of bloodshed,” he advised government.
His words; “I pray that in 2018 whatsoever you lay your hands on shall prosper; l declare salvation, healing, deliverance and quick diagnosis and termination of the work of darkness in your life in Jesus Christ name. I decree bumper harvest for farmers, God’s wisdom and academic success for students, promotion and upliftment for civil servants, a turnaround profit and income for business owners and God’s guidance, knowledge and understanding for our leaders in Jesus Christ name. Amen.”
