A new General Manager has been appointed for Radio Nigeria FM Bida, Niger state (100.5) power FM.
He is Alhaji Mohammed Gbedus Abdullahi, who was until his appointment was the Manager, News and Current Affairs with the corporation.
Abdullahi Gbedus succeeded Malam Mohammed Bawa, who was deployed to Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) zonal headquarters in Abuja as head of programmes.
The new manager hails from Lapai local government area of Niger state, who has already assumed duty, assured the staff of the corporation of adequate protection for all, and promised them of his unflinching support and encouragement in the discharge of their responsibility.
Gbedus, who was also optimistic over the appointment, noted that the actualisation of government policies and programmes through dissemination of information, educating the public and enlightenment, would top his priority, even as he called on the staff to give him maximum support to achieve his target objectives.
He maintained that the host community will in no doubt benefited a lot from the corporation stressing that his appointment would mark another milestone as he would not let the corporation down.
