The National Directorate of Employment ( NDE), has commenced the training of 50 unemployed graduates of tertiary institutions on Start Your Own Business (SYOB) in Nasarawa State.
Acting State Coordinator of the agency Mr Rotgak Goden-Go’ar, made this known in Lafia during the opening ceremony of a 5 day intensive training of 50 graduates on SYOB under the Small Scale Enterprise Department of the directorate.
Goden- Go’ar maintained that the essence of the programme was to train and equip the graduates with business skills to enable them to be self-reliant and contribute their quota to the development of the country.
He further stressed that the Federal Government was determined to tackle youth restiveness and unemployment thereby improving on the standard of living of Nigerians.
According to him, the essence of these lectures is to train you to think outside the box and sharpen your skills as entrepreneurs.
