The Executive secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), John Kennedy Opara, has called on Nigerians within the working class to plan ahead for the rainy day.
A statement from the head of media and publicity NCPC, Celestine Ogugua, said the Executive Secretary gave the advice, during a recently organised send- forth ceremony for two of its managements Staff, Deaconess Gladys Odegbaro and Mr. Samuel Olusina Ogundimu.
The statement said the Executive Secretary extolled the good qualities of the two out gone staff; describing t5hem as hardworking and dedicated to duty.
It further stated that the NCPC helms man reiterated the importance of change in human development, noting that the impact of workers, will determine the difference, created by their absence.
According to the statement, Opara called on the two staff to always demonstrate in practical terms the good things they gained from the Commission and put God first in whatever they do because according to him, “the strength you have come from the Lord”. In his words, “I want
to assure you that you should be able to project your Isaac for your lamb to come”.
Until their exit from NCPC, Deaconess Gladys Odegbaro was the Legal Adviser of the Commission while Mr. Ogundimu was the Head of Procurement Unit of the Commission.
