The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) said its set to showcase all the unique strength of the culture that the country has during this year’s International Arts and Crafts Expo(INAC).
The Director General NCAC Otunba Runsewe made the disclosures while hosting 2018 Pre-INAC Diplomatic Dinner for Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Abuja.
Runsewe who pointed out that the 11th edition, comes with different packages “ believes that we need to develop our brand to attend to all the ambassadors and high commissioners, basically because they are best communicators, so we have to create a very good impression about our country
While adding that “with this collaboration ,instance of the usually African Arts and Crafts Expo (AFAC) we are now going to host INAC, you can see that over 32countries are in attendance at the dinner this means we are already making a huge difference, this is also signifying partnership at the 11th INAC.
“If we have the opportunity to showcase the strength of our country cultural, it will reduce the wrong impression given to us and our narratives will change we showcase our brand. It is high time we don’t allow another to tell our stories for us but let’s us tell the stories by ourselves “.
The DG maintained that our brand must be projected that is the reason why I developed this brand by bringing our highcommissioners and ambassadors together to showcase what we have in Nigeria to them “ they were all amused by our cultural worth like the talking drum and the creative in us. We here take things for granted but they were intrigued.
Meanwhile, Runsewe explained that ,this will also open the strength of each country international “INAC 2018 will be a platform to exhibit and showcase strength ,also promised that such gesture will begin to happen every year as the INAC 2018 was slated for 17thto 24th November.
