NATFORCE DG Commends Buhari over peace deal, giant stride

The Director General National Taskforce For Prohibition of Illegal Importation of Small Arms,Ammunition and Light Weapons (NATFORCE) Chief Osita Okereke has commended President Muhammed Buhari for his giant strides in governance, adding that he has been doing his best to move this country from where it was to another level as parts of his plan to reposition Nigeria among committee of Nations.
Speaking during a press conference in Abuja Chief Okereke claimed that President Buhari has done several good things in this country than most of his predecessors,.
“Even though there are saboteurs in Nigeria but they would not succeed because God of Nigeria will fight them all.
He also hailed the recent visit of President Buhari to South Africa which he described as an act of magnanimity.
Chief Okereke disclosed Buhari’s Visit to his South Africa counterpart, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa is to make peace between that country and other African countries.
“President Buhari is a man of peace, he has made peace between Nigeria and South Africa, as we speak there is no Xenophobic attack on Nigerians in that country again.
He informed that Natforce have been doing all it could to ensure that Nigeria remains problem free as it had severally and consistently train members on how to tackle security problems arising from farmers/headers crises across all the six geo political zones in Nigeria.
“We are very optimistic that Natforce will soon bring an end to most of our insecurity problem in Nigeria including the armed banditry, militancy and kidnapping. Natforce is fully prepared to create employment opportunity for over 350 jobs in all the 774 Local Government areas in Nigeria.
“It is on record that Natforce has arrested many criminals and rustlers who were making life unbearable to people in some States of the federation after which the arrested criminals were handed to the police.
He called on the two chambers of the National Assembly to hasten up Natforce Bill before them as this could motivate them to carry out our assignments effectively.
According to him, the Bill when passed into law will help millions of Nigerians graduates to gain meaningful and legitimate means of livelihood because employment generation is one of the cardinal objectives of president Buhari regime.
Okereke who further advice the government to amount digital devices in each Tollgate assured that when well manage could help to dictate and checkmate most security challenges in the country.
Natforce according to Okereke has been up and doing in all the states of the Federation stressing that its recently established DG Special Squad has helped in curtailing security problems in all states of the federation and the FCT in Collaboration with other security agencies.
Responding to questions field in by newsmen, Okereke calls on the Inspector General of Police to investigate the activities of CP Adamawa, Mr Madaki Adamu whom he alleged had connived with the State Comptroller of Custom in Mumbi Area the state to cause problem for his staff.
“The unlawful conduct of CP Adamawa,Madaki Adamu and the state Comptroller of Custom must be investigated because they have compromised and connivance with armed smuggler to ruin the Adamawa and other neighboring states”.
