A member representing Akwanga West at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honorable Kassim Mohammed Kassim, has said that the achievements of the administration of President Muhammadu Bahari were been underreported.
Kassim, who is also the Chairman of the National Democratic Youth Congress (NDYC) said most of the achievements recorded by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration were under reported.
He decried the insults being hauled at the President, saying it was because some of his cabinets members were not doing enough to showcase his achievements.
He said: “The NDYC is aimed at mobilizing, propagating, sensitizing, educating as well as advocating for the support from the Nigeria youths for Buhari 2019. We NDYC appreciate and support the Buhari’s agenda to lead this country to the next level of Development. We believe in his ideology and philosophy. we also believed in his core values in running the country.
“But some of us are not happy the way his activities are not reported adequately to the public. As a party loyalist, we know some of his ministers who do not have the Curriculum of his manifestos. They don’t have the idea about the president’s activities to lead this country. But they only want to create confusion because of their inability to sustain and values that will inform the generality of this country in terms of true designed agenda of Mr. President.”
He further called on the Minister of youth and sports, Solomon Dalung, to live up to expectation by creating activities that would galvanize and inform the youths.
The lawmaker further urged Nigeria youths to be focused and maintain peace in order to allow President Buhari fulfill his set agenda, noting that the insult he was receiving was too much.
