Nasarawa state government has reiterated its commitment to regain the lost glory of public schools by pursuing its policy implementation in the education sector to its logical conclusion.
The state Head of Service, Mr. Nicholas Aboki Abari gave the assurance yesterday when he received the forum of Nasarawa state education secretaries who paid him a courtesy call in his office in Lafia, the state capital.
Mr. Aboki charged teachers in the state to rise up to the modern challenges by exhibiting uprightness and morality in their conducts.
He further opined that the relative industrial harmony presently being enjoyed today in the state is a welcome development; assuring them his readiness to use his wealth of experience to turn around the fortunes of civil servants in the state for better performance.
The head of service also urged teachers in the state to cooperate with government as well as implored stakeholders to revitalize the education sector for a quality service delivery.
Similarly, the Vice Chairman of Education Secretaries in Nasarawa state, Mohammed Alhaji Haliru who is also the Education Secretary of Lafia Local Government Area appealed to the Head of Service to take teachers into cognizance by improving their welfare.
