Nasarawa govt. distributes bricks making machines to 246 youths

As part of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration policy and programmes aimed at creating job opportunities and self-reliance, over 246 young men and women received bricks making machines yesterday at the Government House Lafia.
Performing the launching and distribution exercise, Governor Sule admonished the beneficiaries across the 13 local government councils of the state to make judicious use of the equipment so as to actualize their dream of being independent in the society.
The event tagged “Revolution for Youth Empowerment and commissioning of compressed earth bricks making and laying project.”
According to him, “This event is in cognizance with our administration priority aimed at creating empowerment opportunities and job creation for our youths in the state as promised earlier before assumption of office. Compressed earth bricks making project is part of my administration policy geared toward uplifting the youths economically in the state.”
The governor further charged political office holders to key into the projects as well as patronize the products in order to encourage the beneficiaries which according to him “This will add value to the economic growth, and development of the state.”
Also speaking at the event, the senior special adviser to governor Abdullahi Sule on youths and sport Development, Honourable Yakubu Kwatan who described the gesture as commendable as it would go a long way add value to the youths economically.
The adviser governor urged people and youths in the state to amply support the leadership of Governor Sule in order to enable him deliver the dividends of democracy as according to him. “Our governor is a man of integrity determined and committed.”
“Let us create a conducive atmosphere of peace, unity and oneness for him to fulfill his campaign promises to the state” Kwarta maintained.
