The minister of state for power, Hon. Goddy Jeddy Agba, has promised Nigerians to work hard towards stable power supply in Nigeria.
Agba, who made the promise during a closed door meeting on peace when Ambassador Abdulrahaman Aliyu Babajo visited him in his office in Abuja, saying that his administration would continue arrest some pending problems affecting the power sector in Nigeria.
While commenting on the security challenges facing the country, he urged Nigerians to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of their political, tribal and religious differences.
He also called on Nigerians to desist from any act capable of causing acrimonies and rancor in the country, urging them to embrace peace at all times.
He, however, urged the entire people of Nigeria to be patient with APC-led government, pointing out that the present government would continue to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.
The minister used the occasion to commend Ambassador Abdulrahaman Aliyu Babajo for the ‘Global Peace Ambassador and Transformation Award’ bestowed on him by the World Organisation of Ambassadors Argentina to represent the African countries.
In an interview, Ambassador Aliyu Babajo said he would continue to work towards peace, security, unity and progress of the nation and the world at large, while thanking the organisation for the honour done to him.
