From Yakubu Mustapha, Minna

Fire has razed down a building belonging to Shasam Designs Nigeria Limited in Minna, Niger State capital.
The incident was linked to an electrical fault.
The building which is situated at Up- Hill Top Medical road Minna, serves as a cooperate office of the Faith Foundation Church Ministry and head office of Shasam Design owned by Arch Pst Folashade El-Samaila.
An eye witness, one Joseph Galadima informed that the fire was noticed around 9:20pm on Saturday night and lasted up to 2:13am despite frantic effort exhibited by the combined team of the fire fighters from the federal and state fire offices with about five fire fighting vehicles as well as an extra tanker could not overwhelm the volume of fire from the building.
He said the entire building with nine 9 offices were engulfed by fire in a manner that the water being used by the fire fighters was increasing the fury of the fire for over five hours.
The Founder and Senior Pastor of Faith Foundation, Pastor Yarima El-Samaila narrated that his attention was drown to the inferno by some concerned citizens as he was in his prayer room preparing for Sunday service.
He said, “the fire raised down my office and that of my wife stressing that the accident is the will of God.”
According to him, “surely we have to leave such things one day because nothing is ever kept permanently.”
The pastor who exhibited courage was full of faith as he commended the efforts of the fire fighters and well-wishers who had shown concern but there was nothing anyone could do than to watch and see their documents, valuables and records turn to ashes.
On the estimate of properties lost, he said “my wife’s documents of business transactions for almost 40 years especially architectural designs as well as church records cannot be quantified. But our joy is that no life was lost.”
