Medical director charges health workers on cordial relations with patients

The Medical Director in charge of Faejoc Raphia hospital Karfe in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State, Dr Stephen Ahovi Umoru, has charged the health workers to always maintain good relationship with patients .
Dr Ahovi Umoru gave the charge while addressing the gathering after he received the media merit award of distinguished “Visionary Icon” conferred on him by the leadership of Orator Communications Limited, the publishers of Orator weekly newspaper based in Niger State and Abuja.
He further advised the health workers to handle patients with care, saying that a sick man is a mad man.
He said he would continue to give the necessary attention to the patients in the hospital, and urged the workers to remain committed to their duties.
Umoru thanked the management of Orator Communications Limited for the award bestowed on him, while dedicating the award to his workers and families.
Speaking earlier, the editor of Orator weekly newspaper, Mr Nasir Oseni, said the media merit award was conferred on the Medical Director of Faejoc Raphia hospital based on his humanitarian services rendered to the society.
Oseni, however, urged the Medical Director to continue to move towards saving lives in the society.
Meanwhile, some of the staff who spoke during the award ceremony commended the Medical Director for his good work(s) in the hospital.
