Lawal Sa’idu Funtua, Katsina
Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state doubted Nigeria’s readiness to key into the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The governor stated this yesterday in Katsina while speaking at a public lecture organised by Katsina State Association of APC election supervisors, tagged 360+ 1 network.
The governor who was represented by the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, averred that even people at the grass root level were by their conducts not expressing readiness for change.
He said: “go to the grass root if you meet a nail cutter the price he will charge you if you are wearing nice clothes is different with the
price he will charge a common person”.
He lamented that the institutions that supposed to work for the strengthening of the democracy and development are failing which he said made people to rely on individuals.
Masari therefore urged people to understand the change agenda of the administration and to support it in bringing the desired change in the country.
In a remark, the President of the association, Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Kafur, urged members of the association to work towards promoting the good policies of the Buhari and Masari administration.
He noted that the state government had initiated a lot of projects that promoted education, security, health, water resources and infrastructure development of the state.
