Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has approved the appointment of Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki as the Executive Director of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The appointment was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Secretary to the Government of the state, Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa.
The SGS noted that the new pilgrims board boss was appointed to the position for his dedication to duty and selfless services rendered to the state.
In a related development, Masari also approved the appointment of three permanent secretaries in the state service.
The appointment of the new permanent secretaries was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by permanent secretary (administration) in the office of the state head of service, Alhaji Lawal Ado Dutsin-ma.
The statement further disclosed that the new permanent secretaries include, Alhaji Kasimu Ibrahim Nagari, Alhaji Mannir Ibrahim while Alhaji Yusuf Mu’azu was appointed on acting capacity.
It would be recalled that the former pilgrims board was sacked by the governor due to their shoddy handling of the 2019 Hajj exercise.
