The League Management Company (LMC) through its the social media platform announced adjustments on the final matches of the Nigeria Professional League.
The last games of the season were originally fixed for this weekend Sunday the 9th of November precisely.
“Final day of the GloNPFLis now Sunday, November 16th, 2014. This adjustment is to allow for whatever petition may arise from the clubs. However, all petitions close tomorrow (Friday, November 7th, 2014)” the statement read.
Only last Sunday Kano Pillars won the league for the third time in a row thrashing already relegated Nembe City by 4 goals to nothing. Enyimba, Wolves, Nasarawa and Dolphins are jostling for continental tickets while Bayelsa, FC Taraba, Gombe United are battling to avoid the drop as one more team needs to join the relegated trio of Nembe City, Kaduna United and Crown FC.
