Sources alleged that Billy’s mother died of thinking few years after the death of her beloved husband, Dele Giwa who they were in relationship while they were both in the school in Ibadan before she had Billy who studied and graduated from the University of Jos before he allegedly disappeared from Nigeria.
Family sources said that Billy a graduate of English and Literature had his certificate allegedly stolen in Benin City, Edo State, his mother’s home town the last time he visited hence his anger and fear of the unknown which worsened pains in the alleged killing of his father through the letter given to him for his father who was on his dining table having his breakfast.
Since then, Billy had vowed not to return to Nigeria from London where unconfirmed source said he moved into to hide himself for fear of the unknown and possible attack from the father’s killers who may still have been looking for him.
Speaking to journalists in Asaba, Mr Kola Ogunsetan, one of those who signed the letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari said” our pains are increasing by the day and we are not happy with Federal Government and security agencies who could not up until now fish out the Killers of Dele Giwa, we have also been neglected and the Children our brother left behind, nobody is asking after us from anywhere and we want President Muhammadu Buhari to come to aid and assist us , we need to know the killers of our brother and we will not rest until the killers and exposed.”
