Lawmaker laments unabated killings in southern Kaduna

A member of the kaduna State House of Assembly, representing Jaba Constituency, Honourable Samson Dikko Monday has lamented the unabated killings in the southern kaduna,which resulted in killing Innocent people saying it is time to stop the violence.
He stated this while speaking to the media in kaduna yesterday.
He therefore called on government at all level to release funds to security agencies, sack the service Chief and inject new blood, investigate the killings in zone.
The Lawmaker said Government silence and non visits to the affected villages, communities shows neglect of their people, saying that the security agencies have not been able to protect people from the raging killings in Southern kaduna.
“I Suspect Conspiracy of silence from both kaduna State Government and Federal Government, what have they done to curtail these killings?
“We elected them and they should do the needful, if the Government continue this way, we will have no other option than to defend ourselves from home,
“We have no other option than to defend ourselves and avert certain death in the hands of jihadists,” He said
“Government has failed to adequately prosecute offenders or restitute victims,
In the space of a week, the people of Southern Kaduna experienced a devastating series of attacks, despite the imposed curfew, the Fulani militia returned and wreak more havoc on the community still in shock and mourning from the previous day’s massacre.
He urged both the federal government and state government to stop the needless killings.
He expressed his sympathy for the families of those who had lost loved ones, and said he prayed God would comfort them.
