Folashade lifted 90kg in her first attempt before breaking the Africa record in her second attempt with 92kg.

This brings the medals of the weightlifting event to seven gold, seven silver, and four bronze.
As at the time of compiling this report, Nigeria had 20 Gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze medals to occupy 4th position behind Egypt, South Africa and host, Morocco.
