The chairman of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) branch, Dr Casmir Ifeanyi, has called its remembers as well as other health professionals to continue to wage war against quackery in the health sector.
He also urged the health care professionals to remain committed to the ethics of the profession any where they operate.
Ifeanyi, who told newsmen at a seminar organized by the association, in Gwagwalada, on Wednesday, pleaded with the health professionals irrespective of their status to shun any acts of ethical misconduct towards their clients.
He said that the association would continue to gear towards the capacity building of the members for a better health care delivery.
The chairman said that plans are in place by the leadership of the association to supervise both the public and private hospitals in the FCT.
On his part, Prof. Bissallah Ekele, of the University of Abuja, also urged the health professionals to give priority attention to research to update their knowledge in the sector.
