From Ahmed Idris Birnin Kebbi

Following the ongoing epileptic electricity supply been experienced in Kebbi State, the Kebbi State youth leaders have protested over the epileptic power supply in the state.
The protesting youths urged the State Government to urgently intervene in the issue.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the protests to the Government House and Emir’s Palace, the Youth Leader, Ibrahim Abubakar and Suleiman Bello said that if the Governor failed to take any action about the ration of the electricity, they will take another measure.
In a joint reaction, the youth lamented over the abandoned electricity subsidy being enjoyed and supported by the state government in the last four years while the government failed to continue with it after achieving the masses support of re-election.
“ We are calling on the Kaduna Power Supply Company to give us light or leave the state, no need of apologies, we only need light or you park your properties,” the aggrieved youths told KDECO.
Efforts made to contact the state government officials and KEDECO proved abortive, as calls made to the manager were not responded to as at press time.
