‘Kebbi govt will not fail Zuru people in College of Agric handover’

The Kebbi State government will not fail the people of Zuru Emirate as it is ready to hand over the College of Agriculture Zuru to the Federal Government.
Speaking to journalists during the weekend, while debunking the false information spread across the state, that the state Government has not willing to hand over the institution to the Federal Government, the Commissioner of Higher Education and the chairman transition committee, Prof. Muktari Bunza said that the all necessary arrangements have been concluded for the successful take off of the University.
He explained further that before final and smooth hand over, the State Government is looking into the fate of the existing staffs and look into how to where to fixed the staffs in the University.
“We just have to consider those that were qualified to be in the University cycle and look at those that were not qualified, we must understand the condition attach to the upgrading before people should start blackmail the Government” he added.
Our correspondents gathered that Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah sponsored a bill from upgrading of the College of Agriculture Zuru to Federal University of Agriculture Zuru which the bill was assent by the President Muhammad Buhari.
He added that because of the passion the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has in terms of developments, the Governor has upgraded all the health institutions from schools to the colleges and also approved the running of degree in the college of education Arugungu for the betterment of the people’s.
He then urged people of the state to confirmed all their information before go on air, assured them that Kebbi Governor his set to fulfill all is commitments towards promoting the unity of the State.
