Executive Secretary of Kebbi State Universal Basic Education Board (KBSUBEB), Fatima Abubakar Udulo, has reminded parents and guardians in the state that the e-learning programme introduced by the state government was to sustain their children´s education.
Udulo therefore tasked the parents to equip their children to properly engage in the e-learning despite the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Executive Secretary, who spoke to journalists in her office, yesterday, explained that notwithstanding the current lockdown imposed by the COVID-19 containment protocols, the administration of Governor Atiku Bagudu involved some teachers to update the knowledge of pupils and students of both primary and secondary schools through electronic learning programme.
She noted that e-learning programme, which is another way of engaging with the students on their studies, is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of information and Technology, to update the students through electronics devices while in their homes.
