Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has assured the 2019 Batch C Stream 2 Corps members posted to the state for more welfare and security support.
He disclosed this yesterday at the swearing in of the Corps members held in Dakingari Orientation Camp adding the state government is ready to give them it’s maximum support to ensure their one year services delivery will be supported.
Bagudu who was represented by the Deputy Governor Ismail Yombe Dabai said that the protection of their lives and properties will be the government major priority, while assured them of good governance.
In his response, the NYSC state coordinator, Barde Usman thank the Kebbi State Government for always being there for them most especially their needs.
“We thank you so much on the ongoing renovation of the orientation camp and for the several success stories the scheme is recording in its operations daily” he added.
He then appealed to the Kebbi State Governor to allocate an office complex with the capacity of accommodate two hundred staff within the State capital as they are on rented faculties.
The state coordinator said further that most of their challenges are lack of utility vehicles for monitoring and inspection of corps members in their location of primary assignment across the state.
He also said that lacks of coaster bus for conveyance of Corps members to the National programme outside the state and lack of functional ambulance.
