Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Col. Ismail Yombe (Rtd) has charged all the State APC stakeholders and politicians to have fair of God in choosing any candidate in the forthcoming local Government election.
He gave this charge yesterday while addressing the party leaders at the presidential Lodge Birnin Kebbi, adding that there is need to put the house in order by eschewing any political difference.
He explained further that the Kebbi State APC has a peaceful party across the country, urging the leader to maintain the statusqo by bring peace and harmony to the party and state at large.
“We are all one, the state is a peaceful State and we need to put our heads together and move the State, and party forward, we should elect a credible candidate for the Local Government election” he added.
He thanked the party leadership for uniting the party, assured them of their support and cooperation toward recording success during and after the election.
Responding the State party Chairman Alhaji Arc. Sani Kangiwa said that the essence of the meeting is to streamline the activities of the party for the forthcoming local government election and ensured the peaceful consensus arrangements.
“We are using the consensus in order to reduce the number of the contestant and bring unit within the party”, he added.
