Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Katsina state chapter, has scored high the conduct of last Saturday Katsina North senatorial bye-election in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the state chairman of IPAC, Alhaji Musa Usman Samba.
The chairman in the statement added “haven carefully monitored the process and the conduct of the election at all the 12 LGAs of the zone, the three monitoring committee set up by the chairman reported that the election was conducted peacefully, free and fair”.
He therefore commended the efforts of INEC and all relevant agencies to ensure a smooth election, saying that they have made the election a successful one.
Wamba similarly congratulated the senator elect, Ahmad Babba Kaita of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and all the political parties that participated in the election for their matured conduct during the election.
He tasked the newly elected senator to remain focused and embrace all without discrimination on party affiliation.
