Former Nigerian skipper, Nwankwo Kanu has advised Brown Ideye to stay focused and work hard if he wants to succeed in England. Ideye, 25, joined Kanu’s former club West Brom last weekend and Kanu was quick to congratulate the young forward. “First I have called him and congratulated him. I wished him all the best in his new challenge,” Kanu stated. Kanu, who spent most of his career in England, first with Arsenal, then West Brom and Portsmouth, advised Ideye to work hard if he is to win over the fans.
He should be focused and work hard to make a mark. The fans will love him if he works very hard and scores goals.” But the former Baggie is confident Ideye will be loved in the Midlands. “He is very hardworking and humble and he always tries to put the team first. I’m sure West Brom will be very happy about the player they have signed.
