Nigeria Premier League side Kano Pillars have confirmed that their new signing, Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa will not be paid whil he plays for the club, the Chairman said.
The 28-year-old Musa ended his six-month clubless spell by joining his former club Pillars.
But it was really considered how the moderately rich club will afford the former Leicester City winger. Asked about this information, the club’s chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko.
“We didn’t speak much about it. Musa is someone who is more concerned about giving back to the club that made him and he is not coming here to do this for money.
“He is not getting paid for playing for Pillars. That is the kind of person he is,” Dikko said.
