Kaduna Utd blames Pillars for loss to El-Kanemi

Fans of Kaduna United Football Club has accused Kano Pillars FC of being the brain behind their home loss against El-Kanemi Warriors of of Maiduguri in a Match day 32 of the Nigeria Professional Football League played at the Kaduna Township Stadium over the weekend.

Speaking shortly after the match, Nasiru Abdul a fan of Kaduna United accused the match officials of being bias in their officiating alleging that they used their whistle to frustrate their players.

Abdul further alleged that the delayed in the start of the match by the match commissioner was a deliberate attempt to unsettle their boys. The match which was delayed for 18 minutes by the match commissioner before it eventually kickoff at 4:18pm was said to have being caused by inadequate security at the stadium.

 Also speaking was another fan Abdullahi Yusuf who alleged that Kano Pillars are behind the poor officiating that cause Kaduna United the match. He questioned the presence of some Kano Pillars supporters and officials who came to watch the match in Kaduna. Yusuf further alleged that Kano Pillars influenced the match for El-Kanemi so that El-Kanemi can allow Pillars to win their encounter in Kano. “Commander” as he is fondly called urged the league management to

monitor the game between El-Kanemi and Kano Pillars to check their match “arrangement”.

Speaking earlier Coach Barnabas Saleh of Kaduna United said his team would now have to depend on miracle to escape relegation. “Anything can happen, we now have to depend on miracle to survive this relegation threat,” he asserted.

Kaduna United threw away begging chances including a penalty awarded in the 87th minutes and taken in the 89th minutes by Anakwe who played the ball straight to the waiting hands of the goalkeeper of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
