The Kaduna Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) yesterday rewarded six outstanding officers of the Command for their diligence and dedication to duty towards reducing road crashes in the state.
The Sector Commander, Umar Ibrahim, said during the Command’s “Anniversary Durbar”, organised to windup the weeklong activities organised to mark the Corp’s 30th anniversary, that the gesture was to promote hard work and professionalism.
The awardees are Deputy Road Commander Waheed Salihu, who emerged best patrol man; followed by Road Commander Aliyu Audu and Road Commander SainGwom Ambisa, who emerged second and third best respectively.
Others are Route Marshal Assistant Isah Kabir, Assistant Chief Inspector Halilu Abubakar and Assistant Chief Inspector Lawal Ahmed.
The awardees were given letters of commendation and gifts as part of the corp’s recognition and motivation for hard work.
