Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has berated the administration of the President Goodluck Jonathan for promoting policies that do not have direct impact on the lives of Nigerians and his inability to confront the Boko Haram insurgents.
Abubakar, a presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), said all the policies of the Jonathan administration have brought untold hardship to Nigerians, claiming that Nigeria, under President Jonathan, is seriously sick, needing urgent surgical operation.
The APC presidential hopeful spoke at the weekend during the commissioning of a 32-bed hospital built by Hon. Bimbo Daramola, a member of the House of Representatives representing Oye, Ikole Federal Constituency.
He called on Nigerians to come out and effect changes in the leadership of the country by voting out Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in next year’s general election.
“Certainly, Nigeria is not healthy. When you look at the economy and insecurity in the country, you will know that certainly, Nigeria is not healthy. The only thing that can salvage Nigeria’s situation is to seize the opportunity to bring about a change by voting in APC”, he state.
