President Goodluck Jonathan has done very well in implementing the transformation agenda and should be re-elected in 2015, former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo has said.
Yobo, made the declaration, after holding closed door meeting with the President at the State House.
He led his group, PDP Ward 2 Initiative to the President’s office. The ace defender told State House correspondents after the meeting that he has endorsed the President for the second term.
His words, “I am here to endorse Mr President for his re-election. He has done so well for the youth. I stand here as a youth to say that he deserves second term to push forward the good work he has started.
“I believe in the legacy of the transformation agenda, and that is why this ward 2 ward initiative is building on that legacy. The President has done so well.
“The youth now have their own power, they have their own belief and they should understand that they have their rights in their own hands. They should follow what Mr President has said.
“The youth should come forward and believe in Mr President. Everybody should come out to vote for him; he is your choice.
“As an individual and as a face of the youth, I recognise what he has done. The future is for the youth. We need to stand up and look into the future, not just now”.
