Not less than one hundred million has been injected into various developmental projects within four months in Kiyawa local government area of Jigawa.
This was announced by the council chairman Alhaji Isyaku Adamu while briefing news men on his four month’s achievements in office.
He explained that, his council spent millions of naira on providing portable and hygienic water particular in rural areas of the local government.
According to him, the council succeeded in construction, renovation and converting some boreholes into motorised solar in Balagu, Katanga, Andaza, Kanoke, Dangwali among others.
Alhaji Isyaku maintained that, on health sector, the council also spent million on purchase of health facilities in Kiyawa general hospital, katanga and Andaza health centres.
The chairman further explained that, out of total 113 primary and junior secondary schools in the local government, the council succeeded in renovation of some blocks and purchase of over 5,000 books and distributed to students free of charges.
The council boss also assured his commitment to give more emphasis on human development for the benefit of his people in the area.
He then, commended Governor Muhammad Abubakar Badaru support to the local government particularly on Agriculture and empowerment in the local government, urging the people to support APC administration for ensuring better change in the state.
