The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has urged the Federal and State Governments to make efforts in ensuring adequate power and water supply in the country.
It also called on government at all levels to focus on the provision of electricity in the rural areas of the country in order to increase the creation of employment to the citizenry and boost the economy of the nation.
The group made the call in a communiqué issued at the end of its 26th Annual National Seminar organized by the group in Jos yesterday.
The communiqué signed by its National Coordinator, Seminar and Qur’an Recitation competition, Hafiz Aminu Yusuf also urged the security agencies to be up and doing in curtailing the rising tide of crimes in the country so as to prevent its negative consequences.
The group also appealed to the federal government and state governments to ensure realism, justice and merit in the appointment of judges of the Nigerian courts.
However, the National Chairman of the group Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir, while commenting during the event, asked people to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying the president was a sincere leader.
