The Junior Chamber International (JCI), Benin Metropolitan has urged Edo state government to enact environmental friendly policies that would encourage recycling of waste in the state.
The organization said it will help to address environment problems such as flood and epidemic.
JCI Nigeria, Director for let’s do it Campaign!, Amb. Gafar Odubote disclosed this at the March 2018 General Assembly of the group where three persons, Eson Blessing Osariemen, Ifeanyi Anthonia and Aghedo Friday were inducted into the organization.
He also introduced World Clean up free software Application which is available on Google Play for android users and App store for IPhone users.
In his presentation, Odubote, revealed further that the application helps Citizens to monitor the aerial survey of high and low densely waste areas across states in Nigeria.
The Assembly led by the 2018 President, JCI, Nigeria, Benin Metropolitan Amb. Bevy Efe unanimously agreed to amend organization Constitution haven pledged their mandate to make Benin metropolitan without waste.
In the meantime, JCI, has started prospecting for 175, 000, representing 5 percent of active Citizens ahead the World Cleanup Day in the state which is billed for September 15th 2018.
