Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster, Dominic Iorfa Jnr, featured in Sunday’s international friendly with England’s Under-20 side, against Portugal. Iorfa, who made his debut for the under-18s against Belgium, in March 2013, has since been promoted to Aidy Boothroyd’s Under-20 side.
Interestingly, the youngster has made much progress at Wolves since graduating into Kenny Jackett’s first team squad and is likely to make his Wolves debut soon.
“Last season, I was also on stand by a couple of times for the young England squad, so hopefully if I carry on doing well hopefully I’ll get in,” he said to Wolves.co.uk
Iorfa, who joined Wolves as a 15-year-old from Southend, brings options into the defence, as he can play as a centre-back or a right-back.
