The Chairman Yoruba Traditional Council of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northerners States and Abuja, Ambassador Muhammad Arigbagbuwo has said sacking service Chiefs is not the situation to the insecurity bedeviling the country, rather the citizens should seek Divine intervention.
He made the assertion while speaking to the media in kaduna yesterday.
The Royal Father said whatever is happening to the nation was long foreseen by Allah and as such the call for removal of the Service Chiefs is of no effect because only the creator can remove them at a time he so wishes and take care of insecurity in the country.
Ambassador Arigbagbuwo therefore called on Nigerians to seek Allah forgiveness for sin committed in the land, saying sin exposes people to different challenges such as been experiences in the country.
He called on the Sultan of Sokoto and the National leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to declare national days for prayer of repentance.
He added that prayers are important because “no one can give peace except God. God is going to intervene in the matter of Nigeria sooner than later.
The Royal Father also advised Nigerians to eschew bitterness and hatred and show love to each other.
He lamented that hatred is visible even the way Nigerians talk to each other, their leaders, saying this must stop for God to intervene in the security challenges in the country.
