The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential aspirant and Kano State Governor ,Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has said that he is the most qualified person to contest the 2015 election on the platform of the party.

Kwankwaso who made the disclosure while fielding questions from journalists in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on the developmental projects in his state as well as the state of the nation noted that no one has credentials to contest the presidential elections like him.

“I have contested elections 12 times ,I won 11 and lost only one from ward, local government level to state and national assembly level.

“I believe at age 58, I am the most qualified to rule the country as president for better development.

He urged the younger generation to have confidence in themselves or else they would be regarded as a wasted generation.

He advised them not to be intimidated but ensure they come out and offer themselves for service.

On the economic situation in the country, Kwankwaso said the country is only growing numerically as same did not translate to actual prosperity to the people.

He said many Nigerians are not happy with the situation of things in the country and that was the reason that makes them yearn for change.

On the security situation in the country the governor said the president did not handle the issue seriously as it took a longer time before he believed the situation was such bad.

He said the issue of the abduction of the Chibok girls is still fresh in the memories of Nigerian who are yet to receive back their children.

He urged Nigerians to join hands together in ensuring that the issue that has to do with insurgency is brought to an end in the country.

On the transformation programme of his administration in Kano State ,the governor said since they came on board the state government has embarked on massive infrastructural development, provision of portable water, health facilities, education and construction of road networks in the nooks and cranny of the state.

He assured that if given the opportunity he will replicate same development in the country.
