The newly appointed Delta state Secretary to Government (SSG), Barr Chiedu Ebie on Tuesday pledged reforms to facilitate governance in the state.
Ebie who spoke to journalists in Asaba on what he will be doing as SSG, disclosed that the reforms were necessary to bring governance in harmony with best practices in the interest of Deltans.
“At the very beginning, it was clear that Okowa will turn things around, and my appointment as SSG will make the best in the interest of Deltans and good governance’ Ebie said.
The SSG however solicited the cooperation of Deltans including workers in the state and expressed the hope to surpass the achievement of his predecessors.
Ebie assured his Immediate staff that he was not a slave driver, but a very busy person with targets for desired results that will put Deltans ahead of others and thanked the governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing him as SSG.
