Ikimi urges implementation of white paper Report on Judicial panel

The Delta State Government has been urged not to abandon the recommendation, that will be made by the judicial panel of inquiry on police brutality and extra judicial killings in Delta state.
This was made known by Mr Oghenejabor Ikimi, a legal practitioner in Warri, durring a sitting of the panel of inquiry at Government Annex, Warri.
Ikimi, who is a counsel to Mr Benjamin Ejiroghene, is accusing A.S.P Sylvester Ugbebor and three others police officers for the murder of his late wife, Ogorchukwu Dagbo, on the 20th July, 2019 at Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area of the state.
After listening to both counsels, the Chairperson of the panel, Rtd Justice Celestina Ogisi, close the case and said appropriate recommendation would be made in due course.
