The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris has led Senior Police Officers from Nigeria to
Dubai, UAE to attend the 87th INTERPOL General Assembly to synergise with other Police Chiefs across the world and improve the capacity of the Force.
The police a statement issued yesterday by it spokesman Jimoh Moshood said the 87th INTERPOL General Assembly 2018 was declared opened yesterday in Dubai, UAE, by His Highness,
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
It added that the 87th Interpol General Assembly, Dubai 2018, has brought together Police Chiefs, officials of public security departments and global experts to discuss important safety and security issues worldwide with particular attention to fight against terrorism and other organized crimes.
“Participants will dialogue on best practices to enhance further cooperation to make the world safer. “
